How to apply for the Fulbright Scholarship Nigeria
Please follow the step-by-step application method below to apply for a Fulbright scholarship:
(1) Create an Online Application
To apply for the Fulbright program, you must gather several materials to enable the USEFP to evaluate your qualifications. You must send all materials with your application.
(2) Compile academic transcripts and degrees.
All transcripts and degrees from a four-year undergraduate degree or similar program, which includes international three-year bachelor’s programs or ACCA. PhD applicants must additionally submit their MPhil or MS degrees, as well as transcripts. You can even apply while in your final year of undergraduate study, as long as you graduate by December of this year.
The USEFP evaluates your transcripts holistically, not just your GPA. They consider where you received your education, the courses you completed, and how well you performed in each one. They also account for the fact that different universities use different grading systems.

If you are invited to an interview, you will need to take the TOEFL exam. IELTS is not acceptable.
(4) Prepare two essays.
The Fulbright application includes two essays. Each essay must be prepared in the area provided on the application form, which is approximately 800 words.
